Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is repeated. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. This is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want strain their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. There are several ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will receive an upgraded level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will increase by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and a number Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade item s can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
